The plan that is provided through our website, has been approved by OMHA/OHF to provide all of our members with the highest amount of safety so all participants can enjoy the sport of hockey. This plan covers the upcoming 2020/2021 season and this is an alive document meaning things/contents may change very quickly so please continue to monitor our website and Facebook page for any updates.
Please remember, that these are unprecedented times and we are doing all that we can as volunteers to provide your children with a program.
IMPORTANT: N.A.S.C. Hockey as appointed an executive member as our COVID-19 main point of contact and the email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
This email should only be used for COVID-19 related concerns or to report suspected/positive cases of COVID-19.
If a player, parent/guardian, or immediate family member is showing any symptoms of COVID-19, the player and anyone living in the same household should not attend any N.A.S.C. Hockey activities whatsoever.
N.A.S.C. Hockey is required to report all cases or suspected cases of COVID-19 to the facility, including the City of Oshawa and the Public Health Unit. In order to accurately do this, the parent/guardian must report their case to N.A.S.C. Hockey using the COVID email address.
This reporting does not replace the responsibility of the individual to report to the Durham Region Public Health department.
