Provided below is the proposed fee structure for the 2022/2023 season.

U7 (Learn-to-skate)

All full-time goalies U11 (Atom) and up pay a $225.00 flat fee!

To be eligible, goalies must have played at least one (1) season as a goalie as a member of an OHMA sanctioned hockey association and are required to commit to playing full-time for the 2022/2023 season. 

Full payment is required at the time of registration and no refunds will be available.

Completion of the Respect-In-Sport course is a MANDATORY Requirement of all NEW OMHA members as directed by the
Ontario Minor Hockey Association

In order to create your new Hockey Canada Profile that will allow you to register your child, you MUST complete this course first BEFORE you can register for hockey !

MINIBITS

Our most popular program is back!

This program is designed to introduce 3 and 4 year old children to the concept of skating and the game of hockey.

Utilizing N.A.S.C.'s very best instructors and a low ratio of instructors to students, (approx. 4:1) this program is the best learn to skate program anywhere in Durham Region.


Children will be on the ice only once weekly on Sunday mornings.

No experience necessary.

We'll teach you!

Under-9

All 7 and 8 year olds will participate on their assigned age appropriate teams and continue to thrive and learn in their weekly program (1 scrimmage / 1 practice per week) however, the players will ALSO be scheduled approximately "every-other-week" to attend an additional structured "hockey skills program" with Scary Skate.

 

Tyke 7 will be governed by Hockey Canada guidelines and will participate in cross-ice scrimmages.

The drills in the hockey school are structured in a progressive fashion with the focus always being to teach the player to be confident on their feet. Skating, skating, skating...The rest as a result, will come naturally...

Under-15

All 13 and 14 year olds will participate on their teams and continue to learn in their weekly program (6 games/per month  and approximately 1 practice every 3rd week)

 

Games are scheduled on weekdays compared to weekends for our younger players.

Under-7



Having fun and learning the basics is the key to building confidence. In order to satisfy both areas, we offer a weekly instructional hockey school program with certified instruction in addition to the regular program for those players 5  yrs. old. All players are on the ice twice weekly.

 

The focus is on the players learning the individual skills of the game, in accordance with Hockey Canada's IP Program requirements

 

No experience necessary.

Under-11



All 9 and 10 year olds will participate on their teams and continue to learn in their weekly program (1 game / 1 practice per week) and in addition, the players are scheduled "every-other-week" to attend an additional structured "hockey skills program" with Scary Skate power skating instructors.

Under-18

All 15, 16 and 17 year olds will participate on their teams and continue to learn in their weekly program 

 

Games are scheduled on weekdays compared to weekends for our younger players.

It is our intention to separate Juvenile aged players from Midget aged players based on registration numbers.

 

In the event that the numbers are not there, we place a maximum of three (3) Juvenile aged players onto our Midget teams with the intent that they will participate in a mentor-ship role helping those younger players adapt to the fast paced game play.

FALCONS SELECT

As an extension of our recreational house league, our Select (All-Star) program will continue to offer a more competitive level of play in a structured environment.

Atom through Major Midget Select tryouts will take place in October

ALL Players MUST register with N.A.S.C. Hockey PRIOR TO taking the ice for tryouts.


Players must either register on-line or at our in person registration

*Registration fee is $200/child and full season program fee is determined based on the division level

Refunds
Refunds will be allowed at the discretion of the N.A.S.C. Hockey Executive. 


NOTE: Upon completion of two (2) weeks active membership, (as determined by the league start date, and/or player start date – for late registrants) absolutely NO program fees are refundable. (Exemption – If a player provides registration payment and successfully competes for a spot on a rep team, the program fee will be refunded (less $25 administration fee) upon confirmation in writing from Oshawa Minor Hockey) 

All Refunds are subject to a minimum $25 administration fee. 

Request for refunds must be sent to NASC-Registrar@naschockeyoshawa.org


All refund requests must include player name, date of birth, registration form number, reason for withdrawal and the name and address where the refund is to be sent. Refusal to complete the Parent Respect In Sport mandatory course is not an acceptable reason to request a refund.

All refunds are subject to approval. All refunds will be confirmed by the league registrar and will be issued by cheque by the Treasurer only. 

Refunds will be issued by cheque (No Credit Card adjustments will be made). 

Returned Cheques (NSF)
ALL Returned cheques are subject to a $25 administration fee. 


Returned cheques will result in player suspension until full payment has been received and cleared, by the Registrar. NSF cheques void registration and will result in a player losing their space. 

Terms of Service 

All players MUST be registered with Oshawa NASC Hockey and Registration Fees paid for the upcoming season.  
We encourage everyone to register using our online registration system. 

For those who are unable to register online, you can print and complete the registration form available below. All forms printed must be returned to Oshawa NASC Hockey with full payment in order for player to be considered registered. NO electronic version will be accepted!! 

 


TERMS/CONDITIONS/POLICY: 
No player under the age of eighteen (18) may be registered without his/her parent or guardian’s consent.
No player will be allowed to play without being properly registered. 

All house league teams may have more than 1 goalie per team. 

All NSF cheques received will incur a $ 25.00 Administration Fee plus player will automatically be removed from team roster until payment is received. 

 

ALL REGISTRATIONS are based on a first come first served basis. This also applies to previously registered players. 

 

Oshawa NASC Hockey has the right to use the likeness of all players playing within Oshawa NASC Hockey for promotional purposes without further consent. 

 

Due to the nature of the game of ice hockey and all ancillary matters related thereto, injury or death may occur. The undersigned (on behalf of him/herself, his/her heirs, executors and assigns) hereby releases Oshawa NASC Hockey, including its members, executives, officers, volunteers and employees, as the case may be, from all such liability arising there from.

All registrants MUST agree to the Oshawa NASC Hockey Code of Conduct before proceeding or registration will not be accepted.

 

NOTE: Due to the size of our organization, while we attempt to honour friend, team or pooling requests, not all requests may be honoured.

 

Equipment required: Helmet with cage/mask; shoulder pads; mouth guard; neck guard; elbow pads; knee pads; gloves; jock/jill; hockey pants; socks; skates; stick
